Maintenance Technician Level II

We’re a locally owned company that maintains single family homes, townhomes, and multi-unit apartment buildings throughout the Metro area, and are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician - Level II to join our team.
About the Maintenance Tech Level II position:
Role Responsibilities:
- Complete a variety of maintenance work orders in plumbing, electrical, repair, etc.
- Perform at a higher degree of expertise, range and efficiency than a Level I Maintenance Tech.
- Travel to and from job locations throughout the Twin Cities Metro area
- Effectively communicate with customers and office team
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients (owners) & tenants when completing work orders.
- Identify additional maintenance needs at properties, i.e. private home maintenance or preventative maintenance
- Partner with vendors involving work orders and accountability
- Participate in company meetings
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of maintenance tech, handyman or related experience
- Experience in troubleshooting, repair, and installation of common household issues
- Motivated self-starter with strong work initiative
- Ability to work independently
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to use up-to-date technology
- Positive attitude
- Have reliable transportation and necessary basic tools for use on the job
- Boiler license a plus
- Bilingual a plus

- $23 - $25/hour for a Level II Tech, DOE (Level I Tech $20-$22/hr)
- Health Insurance available

- Mileage reimbursed at IRS rate, currently $0.56 per mile driven
- Paid travel time between work orders
- Additional stipend paid when on-call
- 1/2 - day Fridays; Office closes at noon every Friday
