Project Manager / Estimator

We’re a locally owned company that maintains single family homes, townhomes, condominiums and multi-unit apartment buildings throughout the Metro area, and are currently seeking a full-time Project Manager / Estimator to join our team.

Role Responsibilities:

• Visit properties to assess property improvement needs.

• Estimate project scope, timelines and costs

• Effectively secure work project contract with property owners

• Communicate effectively with owners and residents regarding construction processes

• Hire sub-contractors

• Secure building permits and meet with inspectors

• Supervise construction processes

• Collaborate with vendors regarding work orders and maintaining accountability

• Explore opportunities for growth in related service lines (i.e., private home maintenance or preventative maintenance)

• Participate in management and company meetings

Ideal Candidate:

• 10+ years of experience in a related industry

• PMP Certification preferred

• Motivated self-starter with strong work initiative

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Strong problem solving skills

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to utilize up-to-date technology

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications

• Understanding of building codes

• Reliable transportation and necessary tools for use on the job

• Positive Attitude

• Bilingual a plus

• Previous experience with personnel management a plus

• Competitive salary of $54k – $60k/year, DOE

• Mileage reimbursement of $0.575 per mile, or as updated by IRS

• 2 weeks of paid time off per year, accrual starting on day 1
